About Us
After the end of World War I, my grandfather opened his flower shop, and our family has served the Philadelphia area with flowers and party decorations ever since. Grandpop was also a band leader and emcee for festive affairs back in the 30's and 40's, but we don't do music any more.
For the past 33 years, we have been kosher caterers also, under the strict supervision of the Rabbinical Assembly of Philadelphia, providing our services to area synagogues, organizations and private clients.
Our catering company, Food Designs, Inc., in conjunction with Food and Flowers by Axelrod and Bennett, can assist you with your food, flowers, invitations, favors and decoration needs to insure that you have a fun-filled and successful event. We are equipped to cater weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, corporate functions and house parties. No event is too large or too small. Our prices are fair and competitive and we will meet or beat any legitimate proposal.
